Through the Gospel, education, and discipleship, the lives of Rwandan children and their families are being transformed.
Five full-time staff members in country provide leadership, care, and direction to our students. Donors and sponsors around the world partner with us to provide funds, expertise, and encouragement. Together, we seek to break the systemic cycle of poverty and despair.
How We Work
Acts4Rwanda seeks to address the root causes of systemic poverty by providing for vulnerable children’s mental, physical and spiritual needs. Our programs provide opportunities for children living in nearby slums to attend school and also receive a daily meal, medical care, consistent mentorship, and the Gospel.
When We Work
Our in-country staff is intimately connected with the surrounding community, intentionally looking for children at risk of abuse, neglect, or worse. Once these children are identified, we seek to connect them with a sponsor. The children enrolled in the Acts4Rwanda programs visit the transformation center daily, where they share a meal, receive help with homework, study God’s Word, and play with their peers
Where We Work
Acts4Rwanda’s Transformation Center is strategically located between two of Kigali, Rwanda’s largest slums. The facility is also only a short walk from the primary schools that many of our youngest students attend. While children from the surrounding neighborhoods make up the majority of our students, our in-country staff is also ministering to students around the nation.
